Grieving in a Winter Wonderland:
Navigating Grief, Loss and Disappointment at the Holidays

~With Kate Fontana~

Wednesday November 15th, 7-8pm PT
Online via Zoom
FREE, donations welcome

There are many reasons why the holidays may not always feel happy.

Maybe you’ve lost a loved one in the past year, and this will be the first holiday without them.

Maybe this season kicks up memories of past losses or traumas.

Maybe challenging family dynamics get more intense.

Maybe you’re going through a divorce, job loss or other major loss.

Maybe you are just a human and have more than one emotional experience during this season - joy as well as sorrow, anticipation as well as disappointment.

If you are experiencing grief and wondering how you’ll make it through the next two months, this is for you.

In this simple circle practice, you will get:

❄ Grounding and nourishment
❄ Connection to the wisdom of your body and the natural world
❄ Connection to others navigating similar experiences
❄ The chance to slow down and listen to how you are really feeling
❄ Clarity about your own desires for this season and your unique ‘next right step’

I’ll also be sharing about my upcoming winter offerings, and inviting you to participate if they speak to you, with a special bonus price only for workshop participants.

This offering is FREE, donations welcome via venmo @Kate-Fontana-1.  Contributions of any size help support this work.

About Kate:

Hi!  I’m Kate (she/her/hers).  I’m a psychic and christian-pagan priestess who helps spiritual misfits live and lead with joy (without burning out or going at it alone).

I came to grief practice through my own life long journey of spiritual meaning making and mental health.

I had many years in particular feeling anxious and disconnected from the holiday season, often processing difficult things during a time I felt I was "supposed" to be "happy".

Over much trial and error I have learned to create a nurturing and spacious experience for myself -- all parts of me -- through the holidays.

This offering comes out of my own desire to normalize and provide room for a wider range of experiences during this season, including sadness and grief.
